Coral boy baffles doctors
This 14-month-old tot born without pores in his skin has baffled medics by developing fish scales.
Doctors believe little Song Sheng, of Jinhu, eastern China, may be suffering from a rare genetic condition that means his body cannot cool itself.
The lad - called fish boy by locals - began developing scales within days of his birth caused by his lack of pores.
Doctors say because he can't sweat or lose heat through his skin, it peels away in fish-like scales.
Instead, his family control his body temperature by laying him in baths of ice.
Dad Song Dehui said: "He is in a lot of pain all the time and if we don't have enough ice he gets a fever."
But doctors have told Song there is still no known cure for the genetic condition, known as Lamellar ichthyosis.
"It can be treated but not cured so we are praying for a miracle or a folk medicine cure," said So

I am so sorry for this child and for his parents. My 8-year old son had some symptoms that were similar to this dear boy's. My son is now a perfectly healthy boy, thank the Lord! I am not sure without knowing the child's full history if the cause of this child's condition is the same as my son's; however, I would like to offer whatever knowledge I may have.
For my son, the problem was related to severe allergies. The "scales" disappeared after we removed the offending allergens from his diet and environment and added "Evening Primrose Oil" and "Fish Oil" to his diet. I highly recommend seeing an allergist (environmental allergists are especially helpful) to rule out this possibility if you haven't already done so. Also, have your child's spine checked by a good chiropractor (preferably one that practices the Activator Technique) to ensure that your son's nervous system is functioning properly (this may relate to the non-regulation of body temperature in the boy and if it isn't, a healthy spine will be essential to his body's ability to heal itself). Lastly, the child's nutrition is vitally important right now.
I will pray for a quick healing for your beautiful child. May God bless your family.
